Adult ASD assessment, diagnosis & therapy

Dr Katherine Birt is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of autistic women and gender diverse people. She has a particular interest in assisting women post-diagnosis to embrace their ‘differences’ and autistic strengths and develop strategies to assist with challenging areas (e.g., ‘un’masking’, self-advocacy, sensory sensitivity, relationships, career pathway, emotional processing). Katherine is registered as a Psychologist (Clinical) with AHPRA. Therapy sessions are medicare rebatable under a Mental Health Care Plan (up to 10 per calendar year). Katherine has over 10 years of clinical experience, predominantly working with autistic adults.
